1. Remember, When you post something online it is there forever. Therefore think before you post, because what you post today will impact you in the future.
2. Never share your PERSONAL INFORMATION online with anyone, this includes your passwords, phone number, address or even your school!
3. Only accept friend request off of people you know or have met. DO NOT Accept anyone you have never met, they may be out to harm you. An online friend you don't know is a STRANGER!
4. Make sure all of your social network pages are on private, you only want the people you know searching and looking at your personal life.
5. Don't Believe everything you read online, make sure you know where the information is coming from.
6. Keep your parents informed about your activities online, if you come across something that makes you feel uncomfortable or uneasy, make sure you tell an adult straight away.
7. If you want to upload a video or photo that have other people in it, make sure you seek permission before posting it online.
8. If your parents don't know, share and help them when using the internet, inform them about the sites you use, making sure that they know how to use them too.
9. If you are being harassed or bullied online, make sure you let an adult know as soon as possible.
10. Don't say things online to people that you wouldn't say to their face!!

There are lots of cool things to do and see online. You have the ability to do so many cool things! but remember everything you post online combines to make your digital footprint.
